the (good) patches of 1.0 were decent because they didn't try to hamfist a connection with the main campaign that's currently going on. You had a bunch of things in 2.x that were supposed to be relevant to the main story but didn't hence why the main story chapters personally fell short because of it. Game would be drastically better off if it got treated like an anthology instead of what we have now like anon mentioned. It's fascinating how chapters 8-10 are an inverse of 5-7's quality .
