Finally getting to try The Beast. Opening it up, it smelled like manure and a slight bit of sweet BBQ sauce. Being 51% Perique, I knew it would be pungent. The taste is pretty one dimensional so far, with the Kentucky only popping up here and there. Mostly just earthy, slightly fruity Perique. I’m not getting rum at all, besides a bit of sweetness. Not as spicy as I thought it would be. Nicotine hit is quite strong though.
