It's my understanding the AI generates the composition of an image early on, then the style and details later. There have been research papers about this and it's why Teacache works: https://stable-diffusion-art.com/teacache/
Therefore, if you have LORAs about composition or the character you could apply them early on, then switch to a style LORA later in the gen to apply the style. Basically what you said >>8665077 though the specific step you'd have to experiment with and see the results.
