Sexual abuse is common. It's reasonable to say there's 'scar tissue' from sexual abuse. People cope in different ways, people were hurt in different ways.

At least some of gender dysphoric were fucked at an early age and left to deal. Sometimes that means people think they should be girls. I'm not criticizing. It's led to some great sex, but I've found a lot of hurt people in-between excellent orgasms.
