I did flagging work on and off for a few years near a reservation. Christ I hated those listerine sipping assholes. Had a stop ahead sign 200ft ahead of me, a slowing flagger at the christ of a hill and then me doing complete stops so the pilot could guide them through a 1 lane stretch. The amount of times these dick slurping faggots would bound over that hill crest going 60 in what is under normal conditions a 40 and then burn tire coming to a stop infuriated me to no end. Had more then a few of them not paying any attention to the road or the workers or signs and blast past me still doing 60. Had to get on the raido and warn the pilot some drunk suicide gironnimo was coming to ruin his day.
It got to the point I would stand closer then I should to the center and hold out the sign on a 6ft pole. So if they didn't stop I could at least let it go with enthusiasm and let it impale their dumb fuck asses while keeping the workers and other drivers safe. Only reason I didn't quit the first time it happened was because they were paying exceedingly well and I need the cash.
