Absolutely not, and that's why I pity you. After all, VOCALOID culture is about about making, sharing and cherishing art with other fans. The reason you're even here is because some artist somewhere felt proud enough to share their work and it changed your life enough to land you here today. You're missing the point of the whole deal if you don't want to engage in those feelings, even just a little. You're essentially a permanent secondary, refusing to truly play with everybody else because pictures of toys are good enough for you.
That said, no problem in playing with your toys. Like I said, just because the world gets shittier doesn't mean I have to follow suit. You getting rid of the middle-man for yourself doesn't change anything for me
