I reached Master Rank in SF6 and I still can't react to fucking anything, I can't reverse-DI, I can't whiff punish, I constantly fuck up my cancels. I can stay calm enough to remember frame data in the moment, and when I do my reactions are slow enough to where I can't capitalize on it. I've been playing fighting games since vanilla SF4 and I have never been able to improve past the level of skill that I feel that I am still locked into, the only reason I've reached Master is because SF6 is a casino game that floats any and all comers up the ranks so even me making it to Master feels like the equivalent of imposter syndrome.
