Which was always a retarded thing to say because slat armor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slat_armor) was a thing since WW1 and in the cause of Ukraine the Russians were worried about getting RPGs shot at the top of their turrets (tank's typical weakest armor spot) in an urban setting. Hence they installed slat armor on top.
