I see it as more avant-garde industrial "dark future" stuff, although there's some overlap here because 4chan had traditionally tried to mark its culture as dark and not-normalfag. Culture is also a lot more fungible than political ideology, it moves around a lot more like streams of water and stuff that starts from the fringe can move to the center (and vice-versa). You see this aesthetic in computer games a lot like Deus Ex and Command & Conquer. Palantir also taps into this:
