Early nineties, summertime, lying on the bottom bunk of one of those red metal bunkbeds everyone had (even though I was an only child), about 3am trying to get to sleep. I saw/didn't see a floating light that was sort of dim on the edges - but it was extremely hard to make out just by looking at it at first. I got scared and closed my eyes really tight and then I could see it even more clearly on the inside of my eyelids. I opened my eyes back up and it was there in the middle of the room, in a lot more than three dimensions which is REALLY hard to describe...like edges folding in on each other. I asked "what are you" and it didn't say anything...but I could hear a million strong choir singing something in perfect harmony. It's the song that really stuck with me because I heard it again on March 9, 2020 when I OD'd on fentanyl laced heroin. My friend got home from work and hit me with narcan and saved my life...unfortunately his wife got some of the same stuff and went out of town and she died.

Sort of. The simulation exists in order to collect data. Whatever event we are supposed to collect data from is about to happen and the simulation is making sure it takes place.
