Doing Midas' story quests in BR where you have to talk to some NPCs for Skillet, if you go to Night Rose she talks about the spirit realm and being a thrall to the demons there before stating (in bold letters) she never wants her freedom to be taken away again by them. It's entirely likely she has some serious claustrophobia and trauma over the thousands of years she was trapped that she can't be in a room that small or maybe even buildings entirely and hence why she's camping outside nearby.
