I really enjoyed GU
The game was built around wirebugs so all of it makes it feel good, more aggressive monsters but you have options to defend yourself against them, it's engaging
The monster selection is very good but I'd have added 2-3 more
Maybe it doesn't have the best graphics but the art direction is beautiful, the OST has some better remixes but some are a bit weak (Valstrax GU had a better theme)
It's easy for the most part in LR and HR but Magnamalo and the original monsters can kick your ass easily
I thought Palamutes were ok but I started using the Palico more and have been sticking to Palico only, you have ways to move around the map that are faster than the Palamute, cutting a 15-16 mins hunt down to 14-15 but getting less utility doesn't seem worth it
Story is dumb but characters are charming, I don't play Monster Hunter for the story

I started with 4U, I have played 3U, X, GU, Risebreak and Worldborne and I can easily say that on PC and modern consoles, this is the best one
Maybe if we get GU on PC (official) that could change
