If you don't consider yourself very savvy I know Forge is pretty easy to jump into. If you feel comfortable with visual- and node-based programming you can jump into ComfyUI which is a little more complex but more flexible and customizable.

Checkpoints are a big deciding factor on the output. I generally use Illustrious based checkpoints like wainsfw. But I also have others for lora compatibility and just style differences.
