I get plenty of dates through apps but the quality of match is extremely variable and mostly bad. I'll maybe get 2-3 actual quality matches with women I can see a future with in a year but keep in mind that's an enormous amount of messages and I go on dates at least once a week. The one thing I've really learnt is that women are incredibly autistic but as a guy it takes you years of experiance to notice that the person on the other side is panicking and throwing out whatever comes into their head to impress you which is usually the flexing that works with women.

irl dating leads to much better matches but the problem is that you encounter fundamental incompatibilities no matter where you go. Recently I met a cute woman in an evening language class for example, we got along well, I made her giggle and the class thought we were a good match but then I found out she was completely opposed to children and wanted to move abroad rather than ever settle down.

Awful. Your friends have wishful thinking when trying to draw patterns and matches which is based on their interactions with people as friends. A good example was when some friends tries to set me up with a nuclear physicist but I quickly found out when I joked about making nuclear weapons that she had a peace symbol tattoo on her wrist and things descended from there to finding out that she had an addiction to painkillers and various mental instabilities.
