Unconventional? I got you. How about ROB 64? The cast isn't exactly packed with robotic characters, this guy can play off the existing ROB as a psuedo-follow up, and he's actually an original character from the Star Fox franchise. I've always thought it would make for a out-of-left field character choice, just like the original ROB was. It'd be even better if Smash 6 has something like Subspace Emissary and this mf is a pivotal character.
