Thanks for all the help, I managed with hide.me VPN since it has a free premium trial.

Be advised everyone, though, I couldn't log in at all because the first account sync was faulty and it kept showing me maintenance in progress. I assumed that was a bad VPN but it wasn't. It only worked after I unlinked the account and then linked again.

Also, unlike mobile, it seems like I need to be connected to a VPN 100% of the time to get the game to keep running. In mobile after I got everything established it just stopped checking where I'm connecting from. I'm not sure if I'm going to bother with PC version outside of buying cheap pakejis.
