I dont know if this is a flex, but i spent 600 dollars on a homelab server equipped with 6, 12 terabyte hard drives. Just the basic DIY NAS, seeding, and piracy.
Instead of paying for netflix, hulu, prime, paramount, google drive, etc, etc. Im able to automate pirating movies and TV series with Plex. When you click add to watchlist, it is able to use an indexing service with qbittorrent and sabnzbd to download any TV series or movie that has been released ever. Its gotten so good that even new series like king of the hill season 14 was able to be downloaded in less than an hour.
Basically instead of paying 200 dollars per month to have access to all that content, it only costs me 30 dollars to self host it. This includes music too, pic rel is what the lab looks like as well.
So far I have 3000 movies and 200 individual TV series that is kept forever without any restrictions.
