Lagos has the same population (17 million) and it's all on street view along with the entire country, you can determine yourself whether you believe that many people are there. Nigeria would actually be the prime model to figure out how everything in Africa works and what is true or not, I don't know why there is so much focus on the Congo apart from the fact it's geographically the biggest and in the middle of the continent.
Nigeria doesn't really hide anything and is quite transparent so it's not necessarily out of malice, nobody knows what it is going most likely or can be bothered looking into it which means nobody actually cares about the facts, just complaining about it
