The Mongols killed 8 million Jurchens and millions of Tanguts in northern China.

Han soldiers were doing most of the fighting by slaughtering Jurchen cucks and Tanguts. The Mongols, Han and Khitan defectors raped entire Jurchen majority cities while sparing Han parts like Kaifeng where only Jurchens got raped since Han opened the gates to the cities. Eight million Jurchens reduced to 100,000, Tanguts nearly wiped out.

The Mongols called on Han and Khitan to join then, open the gates of the Jin walls and cities and slaughter the Jurchen and that those who opened the gates would not be slaughtered, raped or pillaged. The majority of the "Mongol army" attacking Jin were Han Chinese tumens who slaughtered Jurchen armies. Shi Tianze slaughtered 80,000 Jurchen led by Jurchen Prince Wanyan Chengyi at Pucheng to open the war to Kaifeng. Han officer Cui Li opened Kaifeng's gates from the inside. The Han civilians were spared but all the Jurchen were slaughtered. The Mongols sacked and raped Tangut majority Xingqing and Jurchen majority Zhongdu.
