it's kinda easier to notice amassing this many troops in southern syria even without great intel
not to mention the equipment there is heavier and the terrain is favorable to the defender
so you can't even get a surprise like hamas

but even if we look back to history
even with the surprise
the superior numbers loads of heavy equipment and effective air defenses
you lost by a huge margin
and you don't have those things in your favor anymore
