If 88% of Seniors who are not paying the tax now, weren’t making living wage, or productive, the USA would be a third world country, which it’s not. 6% payroll tax is 1/16th of income, it is invested by the federal government and taken out in increments.
What would you call using force to take someone’s money and use it for programs that don’t benefit that person, when person didn’t consent?
Social Security does need to be examined but also the Feds need to quit inter-departmental loans on it for increasing unrelated federal budgets.
Honestly what qualifies as rich? You need to be making, or be married and collectively making, 6 figures in most Democrat north cities because of government breadth and systemic inefficiencies.

Live in Houston and life is perfect because it’s a blood red state, you get to live in a city in a major state with a similar economy and income to LA with houses less than half the price.
