Why the fuck is meditation the thing that works so well for me. None of the other retarded tricks I see recommended of "Oh just keep yourself occupied bro" work for me and I usually just end up nonstop gooning but if I literally just meditate for a small amount of time in the morning (even for just 5 minutes) then for the rest of the day afterwards I find it much, much easier to just not do it. I'll still get urges ofc but whenever I meditate.. I just dont do it. I have to do it specifically in the morning and not later in the day or at night so that I get the effects all day and dont goon. Idk why but this is the only thing that can get me past day 1
