I don't feel the desire to do so.

From gameplay perspective, it's fucking awful, just a VN with extra steps. SS's strong point is its setting. It's beautiful in a silly way, like GTA 4. It's a time capsule not just of 2016, but the nostalgic feeling of that final summer before you leave your shithole town for college or getting a real job. There's nothing quite like that other than Persona games (except in those you're usually the 3rd year student, not 4th.). There's this beautiful sense of closure a young man feels at the end of his adolescence, when he's about to set into the world, but still has to fix his grades so he may graduate, have sex for the first time, maybe even fuck the slags he always wanted before they evolve into single mums. The characters are all jokes, but small towns really are like that, with wacky characters, cliques, mobsters, populist politicians, car dealers, rappers... Summerville is a place you want to conquer, but not settle there.

I'd never do Requiem in a 1000 years. I've done VtM 2e, the one real goths played in 1992, the one which has all the adventure modules. I don't get the appeal of Requiem and modern roleplaying. I want to experience the real thing from the 90s, the way it was mechanically intended to be played. There's this meme that modern RPG players just want to show off their OC Do not Steal instead of dungeon crawling or completing missiions. I don't even like roleplaying. I'm that guy, the minmaxer.
