The best 3 advice I've read from 4channers:
>Install Grammarly
Wish I'd done this sooner, but better late than never.
>Remember to write people, not characters. This is why the RWBY cast feels fake.

>When you watch RWBY fights, don't look at the winning side. Look at the losing side.
This one sums up well why most RWBY encounters aren't memorable, besides the lack of a power scaling system, interesting semblances, and well-established Aura mechanics. RWBY fights are often short, one-sided stomps, instead of battles of wits or mouse and cat games. Even when both sides seem to be on the same level, it sucks that the winner is granted the victory because the loser let his guard down or got distracted via juggling.

To think even the best post-Monty fight falls victim to this.

This fight is terrible once you realize how Cinder could've won by simply killing Pietro, but you know, Cinder being a poorly written Saturday morning cartoon villain and everything.

And this one is just insulting.

I think this is the scenario many are looking forward to. Just rush the ending. It's impossible to fix many of the issues that have plagued RWBY from its inception this late. The official RWBY Twitter account conducted a poll, and I suppose many voted for the current show to be done. I honestly don't think it's possible to fix RWBY without rebooting it or doing a spin-off disconnected from the Salem vs. Ozma or Maidens and relics storylines.
