- based on "Schindler's Ark" (1982) by Australia novelist, Thomas Keneally, who nabbed it from the ex-Kapo, Poldek Pfefferberg, who tried to repeatedly hock it to MGM (they rejected it because it was before Hollowhoax industry had kicked off)
- a work of FICTION -- as was clearly festooned on the cover of the novel... UNTIL the film adaptation, whereinafter it coencidentally disappeared
