i think an attic - something like this - would be the perfect place to live. the angular ceiling gives it a sense of intrigue and asymmetry but it's still flooded with character; photos clothes and knick knacks all about, giant windows perfect for laying on the floor and watching the sky and taking in the sun... i think if i owned a little triangle house like this i would be really happy

wish i had a pape more fitting the thread description but i don't have much of a collection. i think this one shows a sort of intimacy in open space though.
