I’m against trump but how are tariffs bad again? Trade liberalization beginning in the 70’s literally wrecked dozens of economies in the world and made people poorer. If you have a big enough country, with a sizeable population, and you have energy then you’re capable of providing most of what you need. Capitalism doesn’t work, communism doesn’t work, the mixed economy is the only way forward, coupled with non Byzantine checks and balances.
