They’re not trying to steal or “rebuild shit they don’t own” — they’re creating a replacement graphics pipeline compatible with UE5 to fix problems Epic refuses to address. Building a whole new engine from scratch is a massive, years-long ordeal nobody with a brain expects them to do. The $900k funds a focused team to build and integrate this improved pipeline—there is a detailed roadmap and a working prototype already. Comparing this to “asking for donations to stop crime” is just ignorant nonsense. Maybe do some homework before spouting off.
