It's interesting to follow the costs for LUCAS, the muttmerican Shahed... which Iran and Russia copied from America (or so the history books will tell us in the future)
>Trump: It will cost $35-40K
>Manufacturer: It supports autonomous missions, interoperability, and adaptability, weighing under 600 kg and costing around $100,000.
>After it makes the DoD rounds it will, like all other equipment, be twice the offered price. So $200K. (Expect some minor modifications, like improved corrosion resistance so it can be based on carriers etc, even though it will almost exclusively be used by the army)
For a mutt weapon system, this is very affordable and probably almost as reliable as the Iranian or Russian models it is based on.
But it costs, again as per usual, 10x more.
