Having watched a lot of footage of the riots in NI, can someone tell me why they just keep lobbing bricks and the odd petrol bomb instead of finding something sharp, walking up to these things and stabbing the tyres, causing the police to either fall back or abandon them and you can then properly set them on fire.

t. never been to a riot but it seems such an obvious and easy thing to do
