Fuck that, there's enough shit that doesn't ever get an ending as is. Not going to waste my time buying an intro to a game that I know will end on a clifhanger, and won't continue unless the intro makes a lot of money. Might as well just play a demo.
Look at the anime and manga industry where almost nothing ever gets an ending.
