I don’t know why they recasted David Mason and changed the look while keeping Michael Rooker but I kind of like it that way since it will distance this product from Bo2.

Also Bo2 being canon doesn’t really work in the new universe, not to mention that story was complete. They should’ve made black ops 7 a brand new story in 2025, can still use the same characters but change things around so it’s a unique product and not so much a shoehorned cash grab.
