He is Spirit from the spirit realm, a karmic entity that metes out judgement. Just like Jesus is supposed to at the end of time, the Great Harvest (of souls), separating the wheat (spirit) from the chaff (flesh).

And the jupiter symbol is just the inversion of Saturn. A sword instead of a cross, violence instead of peace. I can't remember what the scythe (for Jupiter) is supposed to symbolize, iirc it's a sceptre, a symbol of rule of this world. (i.e. psychopaths are in charge)
