I recently sorted my childhood lego, was kind of interested in making some large model out of it, but the spark wasn't there.
Scale modeling though? fuck yea. My dad said it's gay and I should be a real man and do model railroading, but other than that, no one has criticized me to my face. I have a career, am almost completely debt free, have twice as much saved for retirement than the average retard my age, and can handle most extensive home renovations myself, so they're free to take a shot. Most people just mindlessly consume, so anyone that breaks the mold and picks up a hobby that requires time and effort, or some sort of creativity gets a pass in my book.
