This is the reason for all the wind farms. The windmills don't generate electricity, the use it. Elon built them to push the earth faster bc all his rocket launches were slowing the earth down. Each windmill is just like a propeller on a plane and they are oriented to speed it back up.

That's why they often aren't spinning. They only turn them on during launches to counter act the force of the launch.
