Is amazing how evangelicals are jews in everything but race, that same kind of behavior can be seen in any Synagogue or festivity like Yom Kipur where they treat their relation with the Divine as a laboral contract, The Rabbi as the mediator and the prayers aren't there to elevate their souls to be closer with the experience of the sacro but to ask God for things like money, a new car or to win the lottery.
