Someone here asked about the GFL2 drama, let me explain.
In the stream a big patch was announced with much anticipation and players were hoping that one of the long-awaited quality of life features from CN the Redundant Pieces exchange feature, would finally be added. But the stream ended and the developers didn't mention any of this, playing dumb.
>So you're wondering, what is the Redundant Pieces exchange feature? Basically, it's a Dorito-shaped material that you get by pulling the banner. This material is currently used in GL to exchange for standard weapons, but nothing more. In CN, this feature has been modified so that players can exchange this material for limited and standard pulls, as is the case with Powa and Genshit.
This caused a barrage of angry emote spam on the stream because they obviously don't want to incorporate this into GL yet, due to the fact that many highly anticipated characters are coming and they want to squeeze money out of players who have of course been saving these "Doritos" to exchange for limited pulls.
Obviously YZ is bankrupt and now they will become more greedy.
