At the end of the day Ideas (whether of the political Left or Right) get implemented by gov't and the results of these ideas become known. Leftists philosophical "ideals" (although more properly it should be their lack of them) simply don't work on a long term strategy. Look at any leftist urban hellhole: Drugs galore, homelessness, criminals abound, children preyed upon by the pedo gangs, schools churning out dunces, trash littering everywhere, graffiti everywhere.
