I went from that to pre-trib, then on to seeing how both of them are looking at the situation from slightly different angles.
The tribulation is most closely matched to the times of the gentiles, which is the Church age.
If the seals have already begun to be opened (not all, but some), then we are already IN the middle of the tribulation, therefore we are looking for Jesus to return, though from a pre-trib lens (denying that any seals have been opened) it looks like it will be before the tribulation.
It looks like none of us are either fully correct, or fully wrong.
It is unfortunate that eschatology is almost as good of a way to spark an argument as flat earth.
We should pray that ALL Christians are awakened to the days in which we live, regardless of what day we think that is, or how it should be labeled.
