i was an active member of the battleground: halo forum which was the halo site in the gamespy family of game community sites (before it became haloplanet like all the other sites). met a lot of people there, formed some clans, did a lot of matches. halo 2 releasing was right around the time where i started smoking weed. saturday night with my best friend in my basement high as fuck playing 2v2s on battle creek was pure bliss.
i miss it verily...
