Think of American ''Christianity'' as WWE, it's fake, altered and doesn't even care about the New Testament. Protestants in particular would never ever dare to quote Martin Luther's book ''On Jews and their lies''. They literally act as if that doesn't exist. Americans have their own altered versions, Mormons in particular are basically a cult.

Falling for the optics of US politics and religion is no different then watching WWE and think that those wrestlers are really slamming each other with steel chairs on their heads.
