Piccolo is the man, it's a shame Toriyama let him fall off so hard as Goku's rival (Tien too) in favor of jobgetta, but much like all of Goku's friends him jobbing was inevitable, that said moments they did let him shine were: vs Freeza (form 2) , vs Dr. Gero, vs Cell (1st form) and vs 17 (probably his best) it's hard to pick from those but probably leaning towards the 17 fight.

Orange piccolo is because WHY NOT? the creator of the dragons ball should get power boost whenever they want makes sense, without Kami(collo) they wouldn't exist and it was stated that wishes couldn't really exceed the abilities or powers of the creator (lol) so why wouldn't shenron give his lord and master a powerup 2,4,5 even 10xs ? I mean the room of Spirit and time exist too it's not like Piccolo could never not get that strong on his own just it would take a shit ton of time, Namekians can be old af (Guru) I just take it as Shenron giving Piccolo a much needed boost to protect the planet (his job well Dende's too lol)
