ACKSHUALLY, the SCOTUS ruling today affirmed that pornography is still protected free speech, however, minors (as established in prior, non-related cases) do not have those same strength of constitutional protections as adults and thus, age limits to access pornographic material is legal and it is up to the states to delegate it as such. This also only applies to jurisdictions that happen within US territory as well, foreign websites or those hosted in states without heavy-handed restrictions are still upheld as lawful.
>tl;dr: red states can add as many draconian laws to verify age as they'd like, but pornography is still protected free speech
