I love them, personally. We're so desensitized to violence (and horror in general) nowadays that they probably won't have the same effect on you as they did on audiences back then, but I think there's a lot to appreciate in those films. The Invisible Man's movie really turned me around on the character and made him feel like a serious threat. Claude Rains does a great job selling the idea of this deranged invisible dude.
