I feel bad for the kids who got the vax because they were too young to decide for themselves and their parents were gullible sheep, but we still cannot allow doctors to start making their own arbitrary decisions about how other people's children should be treated.
You may agree with it this time but consider that the situation could just as easily have been reversed.
A child of anti-vaxxer parents might be hospitalized for a broken leg and some pro-pharma doctor decides that the covid-vax is gonna come standard as part of the boy's treatment because it's what's best for him (and he gets paid by Pfizer for every vaccination).
In a situation like that you'll be glad that there are laws which state that a doctor must first ask for parental consent before performing any kind of treatment.
