>Wow, it/s almost as if leggo make toys for kids and not just spergy fuckwit
18+ sets, an upcomming Death Star set for one grand and MoCs like pic related. Who's the target audience, kids or adults?
Admittedly, I don't care that much about the sets and more about the parts, since MoCs are the way to go (https://brickerbuilds.com). There's a secondary market with enough parts to spend my money on instead, so I don't mind whatever the LEGO Group is doing either. All I do is pointing out the obvious, that this company could do better, but for whatever reason (*cough* profits *cough*) chooses not to. Which is unfortunate, as whatever Lego might come up with might be less exciting than what Mega Bricks made in the past or what MoCs there already are.
>doomposting
Well, if you want to hear some optimistic ideas:
>Pokemon sets will likely have only prints and less stickers, given it's centered around children just like Minecraft of Super Mario
>there could be decent special printed and molded parts to represent specific objects like pokeballs or pokemon
>there could be a brick-built (Super Mario style) or minifig collection series with various pokemon
>perhaps a Lego Pokemon videogame could come out later
