Just finished ep 1. As a geologist, I think this is pretty good.
I love the focus on nature and that they don't turn it into a class. Just telling you enough, because this could quickly turn into needing very long explanations.

lol, even geology students do this shit. If you are inspired by this show please get some good boots, basically the only thing worth it in outdoor gear to spend a lot in.

yeah, I have felt this pain. Even worse when you realize you have walked so far it is impossible to come back with so much weight on you.

I get why they do this, but in real life they look much more dull. You will hardly ever see those reflections and colors in natural crystals. You need to polish them, either mechanically or chemically. But don't be discouraged, it's very easy to do it yourself.
I really dig this, this show totally rocks. Also, the fanservice was good, it did not feel overwhelming and if you did not care about it then it's easy to ignore.
