You'll be surprised to know most Christians have never actually sat down and read their Bible. I have. It was a fucking long read, and only a fraction of it is the New Testament, and even that is a lot of repetition. But the sheer number of contradictory claims within it, and the absurd amount of contradictions Christians live with daily without realising it goes against their book is laughable. For example, most don't even know Lucifer is not the name of the Devil, that was just fanfic that came later and isn't in the Bible. But that's why you get all these confusing, contradictory positions from Christians, because they literally don't know what they claim to believe in.

The old joke is that if you want to make a Christian into an atheist, have him read the Bible, but it's quite literally true.
