Investigations 2 by far. There is no game in the series with such epic scale, and it truly felt like the culmination of the franchise. After that, besides the "Great Ace Attorney" games, the series fell out of grace for me.

Can't tell. The trilogy have great final cases. Apollo Justice have a nice first case. In general terms, Case 3 from AI2 was the most powerful.
