One Killed, Dozens Injured in Russian Drone Strikes on Major Ukrainian Cities

Russia launched a wave of overnight drone attacks on Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa, killing one person, injuring at least 27, and damaging residential and infrastructure targets, Ukrainian officials said on Monday.
In the southern port city of Odesa, a man was killed when a drone strike hit a security booth. The attack also damaged an administrative building, garage facilities, and destroyed several vehicles, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, at least 27 people, including three children, were injured in strikes that targeted residential areas. A nine-story apartment building and a kindergarten were among the sites hit, causing fires, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said.
The capital, Kyiv, was also targeted, with falling drone debris causing damage in three districts, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported. An administrative building and a major heating pipeline were among the structures affected, though no casualties were reported in the city.
